All our Kits are DIY - and with our Step-by-Step Video tutorials, you'll learn how to get your book fomratted for EPUB and Kindle, Set up and maintain a blog or website, and even design a book cover (though I recommend you hire a professional if you are design-challenged).

Suzanne Fyhrie Parrott: Owner, Publisher, Author
I graduated from the U of W in 1981, and established my advertising agency business in 1988. Unruly Guides (est 2010) was a place to detail my journey in self-publishing. Call it vanity but I believe many have the same dream.
My backgorund is advertising, marketing and design. So it wasn't a difficult transition into the world of book and e-book publishing. I already had several years publishing tangible products (brochure, annual reports, recipe books), as well as several ebook tutorials (PDF format). So, I set out to learn and divulge my secrets about publishing to anyone that wanted to listen.
For me, it wasn't about money or becoming famous. I like to help others, and feel successful when they succeed. Of course, my selfish and ultimate goal is to extract the many stories from my mind and imagination and put them to paper.
I found my niche - and I love doing it.
